Sometimes it is hard to get toddlers to eat healthy snacks. One way to get those healthy foods into their bellies is by making them fun to eat.
The other day I made this healthy treat for Parker. He wasn't too interested until I handed him a chop stick to eat it with. Then poof, it was super interesting.
Try this out with your toddler:
Cut your banana into pieces,
spread peanut butter (or almond butter) on banana pieces,
sprinkle with finely chopped seeds (we use pumpkin) and
top with a raisin.
Give your toddler a chop stick, Popsicle stick, or coffee stirrer and show them how to pick up the banana pieces with it and eat.
